Sequence (cadence, drip)
A multi-touch outreach campaign — typically 3–8 messages spaced over 2–6 weeks — that auto-pauses when a recipient replies.
Cold outreach almost never converts on the first touch. A sequence sends a series of follow-ups, each adding context, a different angle, or a soft escalation, and stops the moment the recipient replies (or unsubscribes).
BoomSauce sequences are defined as ordered steps with delays. Reply detection is the universal exit condition — every step checks for inbound activity from the recipient and aborts if found. Bounces, complaints, and unsubscribes also stop the sequence.
